We at MWD have been building web experiences for over 15 years. In that time we have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge. We crafted this FAQ page to answer many of the frequently asked questions we were asked along the way.

First time buying a website. Will you help walk me through the whole process?

Absolutely! We have unique processes in place that will educate and help you make informed decisions along the way. The last thing we want is for you to be uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

How does the payment process work?

The project starts with a 50% in advance. After designed home draft demo and before we move into other pages OR programming, we collect 25%. Once we have completed and fulfilled our scope, the final 25% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

Do I/We own my website?

YES! Everything that we design will be 100% owned by you. Many of our clients stay with us for the life of the website. Although for any reason you decide you want to transfer your site to another hosting service and get another company to service, we will happily assist you in making the transition as effortlessly and efficiently as possible. The website is yours after all, and we want you to take it wherever you go.

 

Can you help me update my/Our existing website that another web firm developed?

No. We only support websites that we have fully designed and developed. We have this policy so that we can 100% stand behind everything that we craft. There are issues of liability of multiple programmers touching the same code over time.

I’m not local to your area. Can you still make my business’ website?

Yes! We’re great at communicating via phone and email and share screen using team-viewer and anydesk. our clients come from all over the world.
